Making Math With Jon

Jonathon Roberts

Here is a portfolio of what I worked on in this class.

For the first project, Ashrit and I worked on a pinhole camera using the 3-D printer room and spray paint booth in the Makerspace.

In the next project, King, Jackson and I made a tangram set using the wood and saws in the Woodshop.

Next, I created a polyhedron using 30 origami papers from the Makerspace. The figure is supposed to bring attention to the stars.

For the last project, I worked with King and Jackson to create a wooden geometrically creative shelf. We chose to make the shelf a hexagonal shape.

Overall, I really enjoyed this class, because it allowed me to explore my creativity with mathematical models!
